After much pestering from our members, and many late nights working on the code, it is about time we blogged about Minions! The game is an unholy alliance of team death-match game play with real time strategy mechanics. Players are split into two teams of up to 6 people each. Each player then selects a unit to control (called a Minion) which they can order around the map and use to attack others. To win each team has to simply destroy the other’s main base… that is, once they have overcome the opposing team’s defensive towers, mini-Minions and of course the other players!

That’s right folks… It was 145 days ago we wrote our fist ever line of code and over 2,500 man hours of blood, sweat and temper tantrums later… The Collective is LIVE!
