We’re still here!

It has been some time since our last post and we have been busy boys. We journeyed to San Francisco to attend the Game Developers Conference, talk at the Flash Gaming Summit and meet with lots of nice people in the games industry. Minions won an award and has been updated what seems like a hundred times. Desktop Tower Defense Pro is now in public beta to be release in the next week. The many faces of CC2

Work continues at a furious pace on Casual Collective 2 (our new site) as we work towards our goal of launching our new site with new games. One of the cooler things we did recently is the ability to add your own avatar for use on the site and in multi player games, something which we neglected to do on the current version of the CC.

An avatar is a graphical representation of yourself and has 3 main functions:

  1. To help you stand out from the crowd.
  2. To help you quickly spot someone in a list.
  3. To represent your personality / persona on the site.

Chit Chat the 3.0 way!

Work continues at a pace and two of the major changes to the new site affect how the chat and forums will work. This post aims to describe the changes and explain why we are making them. We would love to hear your thoughts after reading so if you have any (good or bad) please do post them.
